Former PURPLE KISS Member Park Ji-eun Signs Exclusive Contract with Davoo ENM, Begins Full-Scale Acting Career

Former PURPLE KISS member Park Ji-eun has signed an exclusive management contract with Davoo ENM Co., Ltd., officially launching her activities as an actress, the agency announced on December 2.

Park, who debuted with PURPLE KISS in 2020, gained attention for her stable vocal tone and emotional performance style. She departed the group in 2022 due to health concerns and subsequently focused on studying acting at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, majoring in Performing Arts and Acting.

After shifting her career path, Park appeared in the 2025 stage play “Fugu,” portraying the younger version of the character Soo-hyun. She later expanded into on-screen work through the OTT romance drama “Fresh Love,” where she played the role of Eun-ju, a stylist, earning positive feedback for her natural and expressive acting.

Davoo ENM stated that Park’s “on-stage experience and public recognition give her strong potential as an actress,” adding that the agency plans to support her across various genres and formats.

Park shared her aspirations through the agency, saying she hopes to “channel the emotions and experiences gained from performing on stage into sincere and compelling acting.” She is currently preparing for her next project, having been cast in the upcoming OTT series “Today’s Weather Is Sexy,” slated for release in the first half of 2026.

Industry watchers are noting Park’s steady transition from idol to actress, highlighting her growing portfolio in both theater and streaming platforms as signs of a promising new chapter in her career.
