Hwang Min-hyun Returns to Spotlight After Military Service Completion

 


Singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun has officially returned from his mandatory military service, reconnecting with fans after a hiatus of one year and nine months.

On December 21, Hwang held a live stream with fans, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their support during his time away. “Thank you for waiting for me. From now on, we won’t be apart,” he said, sharing personal reflections on his service, which he described as a meaningful period of growth both personally and professionally.

During the live session, Hwang also engaged fans in lighthearted activities, including opening an advent calendar and discussing his plans for the year-end.

Hwang Min-hyun debuted in 2012 as a member of the K-pop group NU’EST and has since established himself as a solo artist and actor. He recently received acclaim for his role as Yoon Ga-min in the TVING original series Study Group.

Looking ahead, Hwang is slated to host the 2025 MBC Gayo Daejejeon on December 31, marking his return to public appearances with a high-profile year-end event.
